I chose to become a trainer because I am passionate about helping my clients optimize their health and performance. I have been a soccer player and a body builder for over 15 years, so I am always trying to find new and interesting ways to make workouts both effective and fun. With over 9 years of experience working with clients, I love continuing to improve my skills through applying my knowledge of the biomechanical, physiological, anatomical, and nutritional aspects that all go into creating a healthy and balanced lifestyle. My day to day motivation will always be to improve my clients’ quality of life through all the aspects of fitness.

I have always been passionate about helping people, with fitness and nutrition I have found the perfect way to do it. I enjoy all kinds of different sports and activities from skiing and rock climbing to triathlon, CrossFit, group exercise and martial arts. I can help you find a way to exercise and eat that will help you reach your goals no matter what your interests are.

I became a personal trainer because having been overweight my entire adolescence, I wanted to help others achieve their health and fitness goals. Fitness has been a major part of my life and I have always enjoyed passing my knowledge down to others. Being a personal trainer gives me opportunities to meet a variety of new people with unique challenges. I have yet come across a person that I couldn’t work with. I pride myself on being able to successfully train anyone, regardless of age, physical limitations, or medical conditions.

I have always been athletic and competitive. I was a wrestler, ran track, and played football all through high school. Even though I may not have won every single competition or even had a major impact on any of my teams, I’ve always pushed myself to do the best that I know I was capable of with the knowledge that I had. Over the years I’ve accumulated more knowledge about the body and mind and realize that nobody was teaching me the most important components of fitness, health, and wellness. I have every intention of sparing people the time I’ve spent looking for answers and help them to achieve their unique goals in the timeliest, healthiest, safest way possible.

My fitness journey began when I graduated from LMU overweight and unhappy with my body and lifestyle. As I started strength training and seeing my body transform, I realized that I wanted to help others change their lives too. I became a personal trainer to teach and motivate others to reach their goals. I‘m so passionate about helping others achieve a healthier body, whatever their goals may be. I’m certified with the American Council of Exercise and CPR certified.

As a volleyball player, I enjoyed learning about how I could optimize my exercise and nutrition in order to perform my best. Once I was no longer a collegiate athlete, I lost purpose in my health and gained weight. I struggled with balance in my life and had the all-or-nothing mentality when it came to my health. The gym taught me how to accept myself the way I was right then but also to strive to be better.
I slowly did away with the unhealthy habits I had, lost the weight and gained lean muscle, and fell in love with the fitness industry. I then decided to pursue personal training in order to help those around me with similar issues regarding fitness. Each person’s story is different and I truly enjoy being a part of their journey to success.

I became a personal trainer because I understand the hard work involved in transforming the body. I got in a car accident and lost the ability to work out for 2 years. I went from 165-lbs before the accident to 135-lbs. The amount of muscle mass I lost was disheartening, but only encouraged me to get back where I was. I realized that through my experience, I can help others who have similar struggles. Whether it’s weight loss, muscle gain, toning, I want to help you.
