I have always been passionate about helping people, with fitness and nutrition I have found the perfect way to do it. I love seeing the impact that simple, consistent changes can make to people’s lives, health and relationships. I enjoy all kinds of different sports and activities from skiing and rock climbing to triathlon, CrossFit, group exercise and martial arts. I can help you find a way to exercise and eat that will help you reach your goals no matter what your interests are.

I chose to become a trainer because I am passionate about helping my clients optimize their health and performance. I have been a soccer player and a body builder for over 15 years, so I am always trying to find new and interesting ways to make workouts both effective and fun. With over 9 years of experience working with clients, I love continuing to improve my skills through applying my knowledge of the biomechanical, physiological, anatomical, and nutritional aspects that all go into creating a healthy and balanced lifestyle. My day to day motivation will always be to improve my client’s quality of life through all the aspects of fitness.

I became a personal trainer because having been overweight my entire adolescence, I wanted to help others achieve their health and fitness goals. Fitness has been a major part of my life and I have always enjoyed passing my knowledge down to others. Being a personal trainer gives me opportunities to meet a variety of new people with unique challenges. I have yet come across a person that I couldn’t work with. I pride myself on being able to successfully train anyone, regardless of age, physical limitations, or medical conditions.

I have always been athletic and competitive. I was a wrestler, ran track, and played football all through high school. Even though I may not have won every single competition or even had a major impact on any of my teams, I’ve always pushed myself to do the best that I know I was capable of with the knowledge that I had. Over the years, I’ve accumulated more knowledge about the body and mind and realize that no one was teaching me the most important components of fitness, health, and wellness. My fitness journey began when I graduated from LMU overweight and unhappy with my body and lifestyle. As I started strength training and seeing my body transform, I realized that I wanted to help others change their lives too. I became a personal trainer to teach and motivate others to reach their goals. I’m so passionate about helping others achieve a healthier body, whatever their goals may be. Besides personal training, I teach Boot Camp, Booty Works, Cycle, and SMASH Strength and Conditioning classes. I specialize in strength training, booty-building, mobility, and helping all types of clients achieve their goals.

My love of fitness began with competitive basketball and volleyball, weight training and Olympic lifting in high school and college, respectively. During my 10 years of experience in the gym from novice to trainer, I’ve developed a deep rooted desire to help clients find their passion for fitness and achieve their best selves. My background in sciences and athletics helps me understand both the mechanics of the body as well as the drive and desire it takes to train effectively. With respect to rehabilitation oriented strength and conditioning education, I firmly believe that a solid foundation is key to attaining goals safely and successfully. My programs are specifically tailored to the needs of my clients and I implement strength training and functional movement, all with proper technique and form. I enjoy challenging myself and my clients.

I am a professional Track and Field athlete. Having earned an Olympic Gold medal, I come with both knowledge and experience of the human body. Whether it’s to lose weight, get fit, or become a superb athlete, I believe everyone deserves a trainer who cares about their well being and fitness aspirations. I’ve coached and motivated many athletes in different parts of the world, Uganda, Oregon, and many more.
